L.Table by Lavender (Lavender Cafe) @ 1 Utama

It was a monotonous CNY affair for me where I decided to hang out in malls, among the camaraderie of others rather than to rest and relax at the comfort of my own bed.

L. Table (Lavender Cafe)

Being a huge fan of the Lavender Patisserie, I have always wanted to try out L.Table cafe located at the inner section of Lavender.

Situated at the same row of Candylicious and Uniqlo and right next to Dave's Deli, you won't miss Lavender. With a fusion concept in place, Lavender bakery serves a wide variety of pastries, from Japanese Anpan to French baguette, there's always a new recipe fermenting in the baker's room.

Situated inside of Lavender bakery is L.Table by Lavender. This cafe can comfortably accommodate 25 tables with another additional 10 tables at the open air/smoking area outside.

L.Table serves not only a delighted range of pastries but also a good selection of main dishes.

Did not order any mains except for the dessert and drinks.

Mille Feuille. Rm18.00.

This popular french pastry consist of three layers of crispy filo pastry combined with two layers of pastry cream and slices of peaches. Frankly speaking, I was expecting a bigger portion for the price we paid for. It was decent but nothing to rave about.

p/s: I googled imaged and noted that the original french version look nothing as simple as this.

Cappuccino. Rm8.00.

Red Plum Lime Fizz. Rm10.00.

And a picture of the chubby cheeks and the plants.

Overall Rating: 6.5/10. Can't say much about the food L Table but a definite thumbs up for Lavender Bakery.  Upgraded slightly for the cosy environment and customer service but downgraded because of the overpriced menu, thus may not revisit anytime soon.

L Table is located at:
G213AA / Ground Floor
1 Utama, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama City Centre, 47800 Petaling Jaya. S

  1. The l shaped desk gives you maximum desktop space while still fitting into almost any size office. The desktop is made out of thick MDF board, keeping it lightweight but still looking good
