Having an inaugural Chinese New Year gathering was a tradition that me and my high school friends started since we left school. Every year without fail for the past 8 years, a designated (and not to mention dedicated) host will take charge of setting the events page and getting suggestions on restaurant of choice and preferred dates from everyone. Thank God for facebook connectivity we managed track down classmates that we only meet up with once a year.

Dragon-i, Chinese New Year edition.
Dragon-i needs no introduction. Established in 2004, this Chinese restaurant serves authentic, rich and diverse culinary offerings from China.
Since I'm not one of the best contenders of Chinese-food-ordering, one of my friend took charge.
We had the Yee Sang to start off with.
Salmon Yee Sang. Rm48 (1/2) Rm68 (Full).
Needless to say, it was mess. We saw flying salmon across the table and bits of chinese crackers in my glass. Was fun nonetheless. Yee Sang is not really about eating I would presume, it's more about the significance of it.
Chinese Style Steamed Fish.
Hot and Spicy Chinese Deep Friend Mantis Prawn.
Braised vegetables.
Braised Pork Belly.
Sweet and Sour Tofu.
Apologies as I'm able to provide much food reviews since it has been a while back, hence, consider it food porn in the making yeah.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10 overall for the food, environment and most importantly, the camaraderie between all of us.
