Delicious Cafe @ 1 Utama

Chasing after excessive cravings is a futile endeavour that is often referred to as emotional hunger and is no longer classified as an enjoyable notion to consume. Agree or not?

Having done write ups on must-try desserts in Ben's I shall now move on to Delicious.

Delicious

Having opened its first tea room in 1 Utama about 10 years ago, Delicious needs no introduction. With the mix of Western and local favorites on its menu, one would be spoilt for choices.

As for me, I was loitering 1 Utama as usual and decided to go for a dessert treat.

In no particular order, the below consist of my compilation of Must Try or Best Desserts in Delicious Cafe.

♥ Chocolate Brownie. Rm13.90.

A warm and moist chocolate brownie topped with a dash of whipcream and a scope of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. This is a must try and definitely one of my favorites.

Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova. Rm13.90.

Pavlova or any meringue based desserts have always been one of my favorites. This version was quite good. The meringue was sweet but not too overwhelming and the strawberries was juicy and just nice. However, I don't see much chocolate in this dessert.

I still prefer the Alexis version.

(kiv: meringue is made from whipped eggs and cream. The base/crust is usually empty. No chocolate filling like the name of the dessert suggests)

Strawberry Shortcake. Rm14.90.

Macadamia Cheesecake. Rm14.90.

Topped with crunchy macadmaia nut brittle on a layer of lightly toasted caramel on a cheesecake. The cheesecake was fine but slightly on the hard side and a tad crumbly.

Classic Chocolate Cake. Rm13.90.

Apple Pie. Rm14.90.

The theme was hairbands! Blair Waldorf inspired (not).

Overall Rating: 7.5/10 for the desserts and the cosy atmosphere. The chocholate brownie is definitely one of my favorites.
