Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee @ Chow Yang PJ

When a friend of mine mentioned Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee in Chow Yang, I was like, "Where? Sure Lets go."

Super Kitchen

It was about 5pm when we arrived. I know, having pan mee seemed a bit too heavy for tea and a tad too early for dinner. I went for it nonetheless.

The place was relatively empty at that time, with only 2 other tables occupied.

While waiting for our meal to arrive, I peered at the next table where 3 middle sized men was seated. On the table I noticed there was close to 10 empty bowls, excluding the double count of soup bowls, I'm sure someone had double or triple portion. I reckon the pan mee must be 'that' good then.

Signature Dried Pan Mee. Rm5.50.

Thick noodles topped with anchovies, an egg, fried chopped onion and garlic, minced pork and a sprinkle of shallots. The noodles was tangy and chewy and the combination of its condiments was pretty decent. The sauce was sweet, just the way I like it. Also, there are readily available chilli flakes on the table for unlimited refills.

Also comes with a bowl of soup.

We left at about 7pm when the dinner crowd started ushering in.

Overall Rating: 7/10 for the food and the environment. Parking spaces available off-peak hours and the place is air conditioned. Food wise, it was nothing spectacular but worth trying.

Super Kitchen is located at:
