Being a regular who frequents 1 Utama almost every fornight, I was very delighted to see the addition of new chain restaurants, mini eateries and and stores after the revamp.
Kakigori
Kakigori is located on the lower ground floor of old wing, one level down from Candylicious and Uniqlo. There are plenty of small eateries there, ranging from full on dishes like Ko Hyang Korean street food to dessert outlets like Bisou. One would be spoilt for choices.
The popularity of shaved ice is still ongoing and never seemed to lose its touch since the trend started. Kakigori is the newest addition of the lot, having about 11 different flavors of Japanese shaved ice bowls on it's menu.
Green Tea Kakigori. Rm6.90.
Dreamy Creamy. Rm6.90.
Overall Rating: 7/10. I like the combination of kakigori that I had. It was not too sweet, just the way I like it. Though I must say, I'm slanting towards the creamy dreamy version this time. Downside is, the stall is confined to about 6 chairs only. Thus, I don't think they can accommodate as many patrons at once and considering that you have to eat-off a bowl.
