Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe @ 1 Utama

I celebrated my 23rd birthday and the Garden Lifestyle cafe or more commonly known amongst my peeps as The Gardens Cafe.

Going there, it wasn't so much about the food but rather of its impressive interior decoration, from flowers to plants and interesting little ornaments and not to mention a white grand piano smacked in the middle of the restaurant to. I managed to capture some picturesque moments.

On a separate note, it was a Saturday afternoon when I decided to bring mummy and brother for a lunch treat there just to relive some old memories.

There was a wide range of fusion and western dishes available in the Garden's menu.

Lamb Shank. Rm33.90.

Lamb Shank braised with au-jus and french herbs served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables and simmered in gravy. I love this dish. The meat was tender, flavorful and very juicy.

Seared Rib Eye. Rm38.90.

Seared Sirloin. Rm37.90.

Ice Blended Green Tea (Rm11.90). Ice Blended Oreo (Rm11.90). Blackcurrent Strawberry Yogurt Drink (Rm11.90).

Lemon Sherbet. No longer available in current menu.

Overall Rating: 7/10 for the food and environment. The lamb shank and both the steaks was pretty good. Living up to it's standards, there was flavor and the meat was just right, tender and saucy. The drinks and the dessert was pretty good also. That said, for the price given, I would rather fork out just a bit more and go to a proper steakhouse. The pastas though, are affordable.
