Euro Deli @ Damansara Kim PJ

It was a mere week ago when I first visited Euro Deli. It was a friend's birthday and thus, called for a small celebration of pork and bratwurst.

Euro Deli

Euro Deli's signature Swiss-German specialities consist of over 100 varieties of mouthwatering sausages and ham. Besides serving pipping hot, off the grill dishes, Euro Deli also sells a wide range of frozen hams and sauges in it's restaurant. This place serves beer with your meat as well.

Euro Deli comfortably sits about 30 tables.

Pork Knuckle. Rm28.00.

The pork knuckle was succulent and the skin was really crunchy and it crackled. It comes with a side of mashed potatoes and sauerkraut, which is basically fermented cabbage that tastes sour.

Stuffed Pork Belly. Rm28.00.

Stuffed pork belly drizzled in mushroom sauce and served with mashed potato and red cabbage. If you fancy layers of pork fat, this dish is for you.

Mixed sausage platter. Rm45.00.

There's 4 types of different sausages in this platter with potato salad and sauerkraut as sides. The sausages was juicy and pipping hot when I first cut through. A good mix for a sampling of each though the potato salad seemed a bit too sour for my liking.

Spaetzli with bacon. Rm15.90.

This dish is basically german flour mixed with bits of bacon, onions and cheese. The flour had a texture like that of potato bits. The birthday girl loves this.

Last but not least, a picture of me and the birthday girl. *Gosh I'm gaining weight*

The bill came up to about +/-Rm130 and is about enough to feed 5.

Overall rating: 8/10 because of its value for money as well as the pork knuckle, sausages and overall dishes I tried. The atmosphere was comfortable and not too noisy.

They also have "The Matterhorn", the biggest and baddest burger in Malaysia. It's basically 1 gigantic burger of 10 medium sized burgers. There's a dashboard of pictures on display for all those who've had a taste of this. Anyone up for the challenge?
