Cafe Taka
Located in Tokyo Street, Pavillion, Cafe Takahashi or more commonly known as Cafe Taka serves Japanese fushion dishes. For example, the Teriyaki burger and Chicken katsu speghetti to just name a few.
I waited for about 15-20 minutes before I was seated and the waiter came over to take our order before serving us drinks in the next 5 minutes.
Black Pepper Beef Burger.
Roasted beef patty with black pepper sauce, a slice of pineapple, capsicum, tomato and cheese served with toasted wedges and a soft drink.
The beef patty was well done (if you like it well done) and the bread was lightly toasted and was still had a slight crunch to it when it was served. However, I prefer grilled cheese grilled on top of a warm patty rather than just a slice of cheesedale. The combination was a bit bland.
Overall Rating: 5/10. I would only revisit if there's another discount offered on any of the deal-websites worthy of me trying.
